Effect on the mental health from the personnel attribute of senior citizen who lives alone

Abstract

|
The study will take a measurement of mental health condition of senior citizen who lives alone through SCL-90R. From the study, it may provide a basic materials to increase the mental health of senior citizen who lives alone at the community. To achieve the study`s purpose, it used 250answering paper with random sample of community implementing at the welfare center from the June. 1, 2012 to October. 31, 2012. at the some local area in Seoul. The result of study is as follows: 1)Mental health of senior citizen who lives alone figures higher boundary line and risk group rather than senior citizen who live family. 2)Among the anxiety disorder, subjective physical health recognition have a influence on the obessive compulsive disorder, income, allowance and subjective physical health recognition have a effect on the interpersonal sensitivity, and relationship with neighbourhood, subjective physical health status have a influence on the anxiety and phobic stimulus. 3)Among the mental illness, depression effect by subjective physical health status. Also, number of son and daughter, and subjective physical health recognition have an influence on the psychosis. 4)Subjective physical health condition and degree of ADL have an influence on the somatization. 5)The type of the personality disorder, paranoid effect by education background, income, allowance, using welfare facilities.
